Day full of surprises but also of tension between Cologne and Tbilisi. Upsets everywhere and a potential fight between Furkan Korkmaz and the Georgians? We didn’t necessarily expect it, but this fourth day of the Euro was… colorful. We debrief!
Today’s results
Groups A and B were concerned by this fourth day of EuroBasket, and each of them also played their third game today since Thursday, a good NBA rhythm, as we like.
In Group A? Furkan Korkmaz and coach Ergin Ataman each took their disqualifying and Sandro Mamukelashvili pulled out the wheelbarrow late in the game to give Georgia an ESSENTIAL win once morest a less needy Turkey and who therefore made his own on the floor, of needs. It should be noted that following this match Furkan Korkmaz would have been violently taken to task (the Turks would even threaten to leave the Euro), at the time of these lines we do not know neither how nor by whom nor if it is true, but probably we should talk regarding all this once more very soon… Montenegro managed the Bulgarians with a still boiling Vezenkiv, and in the last match thehe Spaniards took a nap once morest Belgium to the point of losing ten points once morest guys called Emmanuel and Pierre-Antoine. Obviously we’re oversimplifying a bit, but what we can say is that in this Group A… well, everything remains to be done before the last two matches on Tuesday and Wednesday, with four teams (Spain, Turkey, Montenegro and Belgium) at 2 -1, and this one we didn’t see coming.

For Group B we had an incredible followingnoon in Cologne, with first of all a victory following extra time for the Germans once morest Lithuania. Jonas Valanciunas was huge but the Lithuanians are 0-3 and so on the ropes, Franz Wagner was phenomenal and Germany are up 3-0 and slowly moving towards one of the top two places in the pool. The following ? The Bosnians who brought down the near-invincible Slovenians, Luka Doncic had never lost a match in a Euro, and Dzanan Musa and his friends are therefore resurfacing in the race for the Top 4 and in a very good position. Finally and without too many surprises but not without difficulty, our French continued by hitting Hungarians who clearly deserved to beat us, thus positioning themselves in second place in the group tied with FC Doncic and AS Nurkic. Spoiler, it will be necessary to avoid playing one game out of two if the Blues want to aim for even a quarter-final on this Euro. That’s it, we went up like didon pendulums.
