A dancing video of the son of an Egyptian minister accused of murder in America raises controversy

A dance video circulated by the pioneers of social networking sites in Egypt For Ramy Hani Fahim The son of Ambassador Nabila Makram Ebeid, the Egyptian Minister of Immigration, who was accused of killing two of his colleagues in America, has caused widespread controversy over the young man’s health and his reported mental illness.

The minister’s son appeared in the video, dancing in his room in America to the tune of a Western song, as he was filming himself, while the tweeters confirmed that the young man seemed to be trying to get out of a psychological state that required him to dance and feel happy.

This coincided with what the Egyptian media revealed that the minister’s son, as he wrote in his previous posts on Twitter, was suffering from emptiness and loneliness and that he was looking for a girl who loves him and who feels him and understands his feelings, adding that the young Rami announced that he was bullied in his childhood by his friends and from circle of his relatives.

She added that the minister’s son was subjected to a bad psychological condition a year ago, and his mother was forced to travel to America to be next to him. He was also deposited in a psychiatric clinic following arriving at what looked like a psychological breakdown, noting that he was reading books regarding black magic, depression and polarization.

It is noteworthy that the defense of the minister’s son will present documents stating that he suffers from mental illness, according to what was reported by the Egyptian media.

She said that there is some information that confirms that the lawyers will submit documents to the US Defense Court, indicating that he suffers from schizophrenia, and that they will demand that he be presented to doctors to determine his psychological state, and whether or not he suffers from a disease while committing the murder.

And before, a post by the minister’s son on his Twitter page revealed his desire to search for a psychiatrist. In his December 18 blog post, he stated that he was looking for a therapist, writing, “Psychotherapy is expensive in California… I had a good idea regarding calling therapists out of state until I found someone who might do online therapy across the states.”

He added, “It is difficult, but it is possible. I found one in Oregon, and the price of the session costs 65 dollars per hour, as for treatment in California, which is already expensive, up to 170 dollars per hour.”

The minister’s son was accused of killing his American co-worker and another person, and the Supreme Court set the June 17 session for his trial.

And the Egyptian minister announced, through her Facebook post, that her family was going through an ordeal, in reference to her son’s accusation of murder, asking everyone to pray for her and for mercy for the victims.
