A “cruel” thought dominated Prince Harry’s mind following the death of his mother

Prince Harry revealed that he and his older brother William were convinced their mother, Princess Diana, was alive, saying they believed she would one day reach out to her children and take them away.

Harry added that he and William repeatedly talked regarding the idea that their mother did not die in the Paris car accident in 1997, but instead decided to disappear for a while, and that what happened was part of a plan.

“For a long time, I refused to accept that my mom was gone,” he told 60 Minutes in an exciting new interview.

He admitted he had kept this belief alive “for many years”, adding that he had a great deal of hope that his mother would one day return to be with her children, until he finally demanded that he be given access to the police report of her death, which included gruesome photos of the scene.

“There was this heaviness on my chest that I had felt for so many years that I might never cry,” Harry said.

Harry added that he struggled with his grief for years, and began experimenting with psychedelic drugs to deal with his mother’s death.

Harry pointed out that the drug he took was a way to get rid of the pain of loss, and added: “I would never advise people to do this recreationally.”
