Emergency services received a call around 3:30 this morning. Arrived on the spot, they note the extent of the damage.
A car, the only one involved, with six occupants inside, violently hit a roundregarding and was propelled several meters from the point of impact. The facts occurred on the road from Aarschot to Lier at the intersection with Hazeldonk, as reported by the HLN.
A Porsche-branded car, according to HLN, slammed into the roundregarding, was catapulted by the impact, flew through trees and ended up on its roof in the parking lot of Azelhof Horse Events.
Two people lost their lives in this collision. The other four were injured, three of them seriously. the vital prognosis of two of the occupants is engaged.
Later this morning, the first elements of the investigation were revealed. “There is a strong suspicion that it is excessive speed”
