A consultant reveals the most myths and malpractices in the treatment of epilepsy

Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Fawzia Bamqadam, a neurosurgeon consultant, revealed the most myths and malpractices in the treatment of epilepsy, including tying the head with iron and using pumpkin.

And she explained during her appearance on the “Yahla” channel: Most of the one tied the head to a piece of iron, claiming that there was a hole in the brain from which air escapes, and one of the risks is that one of them fainted and suffered a stroke.

She added that some of them say that percussion reduces the electrical charges in the brain, pointing out that the human mind contains balanced electrical ions that enable the person to see and move.
