A “consultant” answers • Al-Marsad newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: Family medicine consultant, Dr. Walid Al-Badawi, revealed the reasons for feeling the internal heat and what it indicates.

He said during an interview with the “Saudi Sabah” program: There are two types of temperature, the first is a person who feels it and does not document it, and the second is the documented temperature. If a person measures the temperature, he finds that it is more than 37 and a half degrees.

He continued, “People are at the end of life, meaning old people once or children once, the temperature does not give the correct number, there are symptoms that must be looked at, and the temperature is a secondary thing.”

And he added, for example, women at menopause feel hot, but when measuring they do not find a temperature, or some people find that they have activity in the thyroid gland and may feel hot, but when you measure the temperature you do not find a rise in temperature.

He added, heat is more a symptom than a disease, and indicates infections or infections, benign or not benign tumors, and some diseases can cause heat in the body, such as rheumatism.

And he concluded, there is a temperature whose source is unknown, for example, the patient may be in the hospital for two weeks and his temperature is high, but its source is unknown.
