The news did not go unnoticed, and, in the aisles of the gallery centre commercial Leclerchas Sablé-sur-Sarthe (Sarthe)the portrait of the singer has been displayed in large format for several weeks.

Joyce Jonathanstar from French songwill come to happen on Saturday October 19, 2024 on the scene Joël-Le Theulemanaged by Intermission et the City.

But it is indeed at the invitation of cultural center of the Leclerc hypermarketwhich the artist responded.

“An original way to thank customers”

“We have the common desire to revitalize the city of Sablé,” explains Celine Tessier, owner of the supermarket, of which it is also the general director.

For us, it’s an original way to thank our customers, in a new format.

Julien Lartigue, the store director

Unprecedented since for the first time, the cultural event initiated by the supermarket will be organized outside the walls.

“In fact, it all started when we brought Vitaa in for a signing session in October 2023, it attracted a lot of people to the store,” rewinds Julien Lartigue.

A success which challenged the City and the Intermission. “We seek to develop events linked to the current musicso we decided to be facilitator for this new meeting by providing the location and the technical teams”, summarizes Manuela Gourichon, culture assistant.

Leclerc, main patron of L’Entracte

The Leclerc cultural center has become the main patron of L’Entracteby paying a sum of 8 000 € This year.

This money will go directly to Pop at the Park. It’s a win-win partnership.

Roland Bouchon, director of Entracte.

A cultural patronage that “does good”, he continues, “Joyce Jonathan enriches our programming and we are comfortable with the idea of a public-private partnership”.

Roland Bouchon reminds us that other private groups financially support the labeled Entracte stage. A useful explanation after remarks made par opposition elected official Rémi Mareauduring the last municipal council of SabléMonday October 2.

However, the press conference scheduled for Friday October 4 was not organized in response to the criticism. “The date was set well before,” assures Manuela Gourichon.

For its part, the hypermarket, which seeks to “do better and better to thank its customers”, also tries to “integrate itself into local life” by supporting local festivals and festivals.

What about tax exemption, mentioned by Rémi Mareau? “This is not what motivated this project, the primary objective of which is, for us, to thank our customers,” repeats Julien Lartigue.

Places reserved for customers

Places are in fact reserved for them: from 100 € of purchases, E.Leclerc card holders can come and present themselves at a dedicated center within the store to try to be drawn at random.

An operation which ends on October 5, 2024, and which was the only way to applaud Joyce Jonathan on October 19.

Will the operation be renewed next year with a new concert event? “It’s too early to say, we’ll see what the feedback is after the concert,” inform the signatories of the partnership.
