Since the release of WoW, the character selection screen has evolved relatively little. Some of you will probably say that it is not necessary. But this is not the opinion of Tehquo who has been working in recent days on a complete overhaul of the character screen.
In a message posted on Reddit, the author discusses the many elements that might be modernized. Among the ideas put forward, he believes that players should be able to customize the interface by offering several possibilities:
- Choice of character pose
- Choice of the background image, with for example the choice of the extension
- Choice of music
- Choice of pets and pets
- Choice of portrait
- New customization options
- Guild name display
- Different funds depending on race, class, etc.
The video below can give you an idea of what it would look like. It’s pretty cool and I think some of you won’t fail to ask Blizzard to work on such an interface 😉
