Belgians who cross the border to do their shopping might see their habits change in the coming years. Indeed, a new chain of hard-discount will soon land in France.
As Actu.fr explains, the German discouter TEDi will indeed open a first brand in Evreux, in the Eure. Not next door for Belgians, but you just have to be patient. Indeed, the chain explained to Actu.fr that over the next 12 months, 10 other stores would open “in the north and west of France”.
TEDi offers various products at bargain prices: “We offer a surprisingly wide selection: whether it’s decorative items, household items, stationery items or handicrafts, you’ll find everything same place “.
All at low prices. Indeed, hundreds of products in the assortment are sold at the price of… 1 euro.
TEDi is already present in Germany, Italy and Spain, and therefore soon in France. Should our Action, Aldi or Hema stores be afraid of seeing competition land in Belgium? This is not (yet) relevant.
