Heart stroke ” Christophe Pinto, David Rupp, Miguel Morgado and Etienne Morelli, four friends, joined forces to create a costume business in Gruyère.

To offer quality suits with a modern cut at an affordable price. This is the project developed by Christophe Pinto, David Rupp and Miguel Morgado during their discussions. As soon as they entered the professional world, the three Gruériens aged 25 to 26 had to wear a suit and were able to notice its importance, whether at work or on social networks. “A classy appearance is essential to be credible as an entrepreneur. In addition, we have noticed that more and more people are adopting this timeless style of clothing on a daily basis,” explains David Rupp, IT and multimedia manager.

Sensing a potential to be exploited in this constantly changing environment, David, Christophe and Miguel jointly developed their Influence Mode brand in September 2021, before launching it in February 2022 by posting a video explaining their concept on Instagram. Etienne Morelli, one of their friends who is also a fan of costumes, is delighted and joins the company as a sales representative.

Since then, the four entrepreneurs, who all have full-time jobs on the side, have been selling eleven models of suits in four different collections on their website, as well as complete accessory kits. “We design our products ourselves, according to our tastes and customer requests,” notes Miguel Morgado, in charge of communication.

In order to promote the brand and create a community spirit, ambassadors have been hired. “They transmit our concept and by opening up to the public, people can identify with it,” says Christophe Pinto, accountant specialist.

Motivated by positive feedback and steadily rising sales, the four friends are working on a new collection. They want to offer their costumes in physical outlets and online, and open up more to women with new products. Ultimately, their goal is to make their brand known in Europe. “Given our skills and our motivation, we expect a success commensurate with our involvement,” concludes Etienne Morelli. Chiara Bovigny
