Al-Marsad newspaper: A citizen appealed to the Ministry of Health to open an investigation into the “death injection”, which he described as a medical error that led to the death of his brother in a “Qunfudhah Health” hospital.
And the citizen, Musa Al-Rizki, said: “My brother Nayef was suffering from sickle cell anemia and was suffering from its pain and a sore throat with a fever,” noting: “For these symptoms, he went to the emergency department of the Thripan General Hospital on Saturday, the beginning of the current month of Rajab, around 10 pm, and he remained in the emergency department until dawn on Sunday. He was admitted to hypnosis in the hospital’s internal section,” according to “previously.”
He continued, “We received a call from the hospital that same followingnoon, and that we must attend because of the importance, and when we came, we were surprised by them informing us of my brother’s death.”
And he concluded: “By asking them the following day regarding the cause of death, especially that the victim was in good health, except for the usual pain from anemia, they told me orally in the hospital that an internal investigation committee had been formed, and that it appeared to them that the cause of death was that they injected him with an injection that caused him a severe allergy that led to his death.” Swelling of the throat and tongue, as a result of which the breathing and heart stopped.
