A charitable association for the memorization of the Qur’an in Unaizah raises the salary of an expatriate to 13,000 riyals and dismisses Saudi employees arbitrarily

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Labor Office started the incident of a charitable association for the memorization of the Holy Qur’an in Unaizah to raise the salary of an Arab expatriate occupying an administrative position to 13,000 riyals, and arbitrarily dismissed a number of Saudi employees.

According to Al-Watan, a citizen won a peremptory judgment in the Supreme Commission for the Settlement of Labor Disputes in the Qassim region, which obligated the association to pay an amount of more than 22,000 riyals, as compensation for illegal dismissal, late wages, vacations and end of service.

A source said that 8 people were appointed as the CEO within 4 years, one of whom did not complete one week, including 2 members of the board of directors. The same system is applied to females, and the budget for memorizing shavings has been reduced.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Association stated that it was incorrect to dismiss any employee within the Association, and regarding raising the salary of the foreign expatriate, he confirmed that he had no information, and these are business secrets, stressing that the concerned authorities have all the details.

In the same context, the Labor Office initiated the incident and is in the process of taking legal measures.
