A certification in India confirms the upcoming launch of Nothing’s first smartphone, the phone (1).
While the main features of the first Nothing smartphonele phone (1)possibly leaked last week, now its certification with the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) has been spotted by My Smart Price.
No delay in sight
What do you learn from this certification in India? Already the phone should indeed be released shortly, according to announcements by Carl Pei, the brand’s founder, who had indicated that it was scheduled for release this summer. It is therefore expected between June and September in principle.
Second interesting element: we now know its model number, A063, which should allow leak professionals to activate strongly in the coming weeks.
From what we officially know regarding Nothing’s phone, it should run Android 12 right out of the box, with a dedicated interface called Nothing OS.
What to expect from this phone (1)
As a reminder, the first leaks report a 6.43-inch Amoled screen and HDR10 + compatible, a Snapdragon 778G chip, a 4500 mAh battery and a 50 megapixel main sensor. Characteristics that belong more to the mid-range than to the top of the basket, a perfectly logical positioning for the launch of a new brand, since it seems difficult to encourage buyers to invest large sums in a new player which has not proven itself, apart from very good headphones, the ear (1).
With the model number now in the wild, we will soon see if this first information comes to be confirmed or not.
