During the night from Saturday to Sunday around 3:30 am, the firefighters were called in to intervene in a traffic accident. A vehicle hit several trees on the N834, the road linking Bastogne and Longchamps.
Four people were in the vehicle. When they arrived at the scene, two of them had already left while the other two were extracted by the firefighters. The three injured people were taken care of by the emergency services. Two ambulances from Bastogne and one ambulance from Houffalize accompanied by the SMUR from Bastogne headed for the Bastogne clinic.
Despite the intervention of the emergency services, we deplore the death of a young person from the region.
