Emergency services responded to a major accident involving two cars, a Peugeot and an Audi, at Chaussée de Thuin in Mont-sur-Marchienne on Friday night. One car was travelling on the A503 motorway when the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit several sign posts, causing the car to hit a two-meter high façade. Another car arrived shortly following, and collided with the facade of the same building. The Charleroi police will determine exact circumstances of the accidents. The driver of the second car was injured and was attended to by paramedics. ORES were also called to the scene as the gas box of a local resident was affected, however, the installation itself remained undamaged.
