About 2,200 members of the public and parapublic service union of Quebec, who have been without a collective agreement for two years, have planned to come and demonstrate in front of the Centrexpo Cogeco, where the congress is taking place.

A convoy of demonstrators opposed to health measures is also expected. Some protesters arrived very early Saturday morning. At 7:30 a.m., a truck was already installed in the parking lot of the shopping center located in front of the Centrexpo.
