Forspoken multiplies appearances regarding a month before its release. It must be said that Square Enix is betting a lot on this game, which took advantage of the Luminous Engine to recreate the world of Athias in which Frey Holland will be propelled. While the returns are quite mixed around the title, despite a second preview session, the Japanese publisher highlights the immersive qualities offered by the PS5, and in particular through the DualSense and its features. We are also starting to know them by heart: between haptic feedback for more sensations, adaptive triggers for more resistance, 3D audio and the speaker of the controller which allows you to be in contact with the bracelet speaking of Frey, everything has been deployed so that we feel alongside our young wife lost in this hostile world. The trailer takes the opportunity to show cosmetic bonuses dedicated to the PlayStation brand, since Frey’s cape, his pendants and his varnish will be adorned with the Cross, Circle, Square and Triangle symbols.
The release of Forspoken is expected for January 24, 2023 on PC and PS5.
