Rehan Zeib Khan, a PTI-backed candidate from National Assembly Constituency NA-8 and Provincial Assembly Constituency PK-22 of Bajaur, was killed in firing.
According to Bajaur Police, Rehanzeb was present at Siddiqabad Gate in connection with the election campaign.
Bajaur police also say that unknown persons opened fire and killed Rehanzeb Khan and escaped easily.
The body of the deceased Rehanzeb has been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem, the police is investigating the incident to arrest the accused.
On the other hand, ANP leader Zahoor Ahmed was killed in firing at the election office of Awami National Party in Mizai Adda area of Chaman district of Balochistan. According to the police, a worker named Moin Khan was injured in the firing.
After the firing, the armed men fled, while the police cordoned off the area.
Unidentified persons have attacked the house of Balochistan Assembly candidate for the upcoming Pakistani elections with hand grenades in Kech district of Balochistan.
At around 4:00 am today, unknown persons attacked the residence of Pakistan Peoples Party candidate Zahoor Bilidi in Menaz area of Bilida with two hand grenades.
The grenade exploded in the yard of the house with loud explosions, but no casualties were reported in the attack.
No armed organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
