A new cancer prevention campaign was launched on Monday in the United Kingdom via labels placed in underwear. The campaign is the result of a collaboration between Morrisons supermarkets and the British public health service, the NHS.
This is the first partnership of its kind, according to the NHS statement published on Monday. Some men’s boxer shorts and bras distributed by Morrisons nationwide will include prevention messages which will be found on the underwear composition, size or washing advice labels.
Know what is normal for you. @Morrisons are putting cancer awareness messaging on the labels of Nutmeg boxers and crop top bras, encouraging people to contact their GP practice if they spot potential symptoms.

Diagnose early to ensure life
These messages will urge people to contact their doctor if they notice signs of breast or testicular cancer – especially a lump or change in appearance. According to NHS figures, 91% of women survive breast cancer when diagnosed at an early stage.
“Nearly all men survive testicular cancer but if the cancer has spread, 5-year survival drops by 65%,” the NHS continues in its statement. “This partnership with Morrisons [est] one of many ways to make sure people are aware of potential symptoms. »
