A bus impaled by an automatic barrier in Braine l’Alleud

The scene looks surreal. Around half past twelve, a bus got stuck, almost crossed by an automatic barrier, at the exit of the parking lot of the Collège Cardinal Mercier, chaussée de Mont-Saint-Jean.

There were no injuries, but it took the intervention of firefighters to clear the vehicle barrier. Police and controllers were also on site.

“We don’t know the circumstances of the incident at this time. An investigation is open and will determine the way in which this barrier ended up through the bus” confides to us the head of the Braine l’Alleud police zone, Stéphane Vanhaeren

More fear than harm for this driver therefore.
