The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza published its daily statistical report on the number of dead and wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip for the 362nd day.
The report stated, “The Israeli occupation is committing 5 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 51 martyrs and 165 injuries during the past 24 hours.”
The ministry added: “The toll of the occupation forces’ massacres against citizens that reached hospitals during their incursion into areas in Khan Yunis Governorate (Qaizan al-Najjar-Al-Manara-Ma’an) at dawn today was 51 martyrs and 82 injured.”
The Ministry stressed that there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
For its part, the government media office in the Gaza Strip said on Wednesday that the Israeli army has exterminated 902 Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
The office added in a statement via Telegram: “As part of the continuation of the crime of genocide carried out by the Israeli occupation army with full American sponsorship, the occupation army exterminated 902 Palestinian families and erased them from the civil registry by killing their entire members during a year of genocide in the Gaza Strip (which began in October 7).
In huge numbers, the office explained that the “Israeli occupation army” annihilated 1,364 Palestinian families, killing all their members, leaving only one member in each family. It also wiped out 3,472 Palestinian families, killing all their members, leaving only two individuals remaining.
He stressed that “these massacres occur with the participation of a group of European and Western countries that supply the occupation with lethal and internationally prohibited weapons, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and other countries.”
The media office also condemned “in the strongest terms the crime of the Israeli occupation’s murder of entire Palestinian families, as well as all the crimes of murder and extermination carried out by the occupation against our Palestinian people,” holding “the Israeli occupation, the American administration, and the countries participating in the genocide fully responsible for these crimes.”
He called on “the international community and all international and international organizations to put pressure on the American administration and the criminal occupation to stop the genocidal war and stop the waterfall of blood flowing that has been continuing for a whole year.”
For about a year, Israel directed its anger at civilians in the Gaza Strip, targeting entire families, especially in shelters for displaced Palestinians, and used prohibited weapons in crowded places, which led to an increasing number of deaths and injuries, despite all international warnings about the repercussions of this.
The Israeli war on the Gaza Strip also left more than 41,689 dead and 96,625 injured, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children.
