A biker died this Saturday followingnoon following a collision with a TEC bus at the Barrière de Gonrieux (Couvin). The emergency services confirmed the death of the motorcyclist on the spot.

Around 12:45 p.m. this Saturday, a motorcyclist hit a TEC bus near the Barrière de Gonrieux (Couvin). The driver of the two-wheeler was traveling from Chimay to Couvin, on the N99, while the bus was coming from the village of Gonrieux and was going to take the national at the time of the collision.

Quickly arrived on the spot, the firefighters of the Couvin barracks established a security perimeter, but were unable to save the 26-year-old biker, who died on the spot.

According to witnesses, the biker was busy overtaking a car when the bus was advancing on the National.
