Other luxury bikes follow: BMC’s Teammachine R 01 road bike, priced at €15,000, S-Works’ Tarmac SL8, the world’s fastest road bike, and the same manufacturer’s Epic 8 mountain bike, both priced 14,500 euros each. All of these bikes are made from high quality carbon fiber and feature electric shifting systems.

Such bicycles are chosen by cyclists seeking sports results, who are looking for a maneuverable bicycle capable of developing high speed in competitions.
