More than 24 years have passed since the departure of the beautiful star Madiha Kamel, whose beauty, tenderness and artistic brilliance in Egyptian cinema was unparalleled.

Throughout her career, Madiha Kamel presented many films, perhaps the most famous of which is the movie “Ascent to the Abyss”, in which she played the role of a spy.
And her role in the film was classified as a paid scene in Egyptian cinema, and director Kamal Al-Sheikh chose for him the turning point and the starting point for her first-class tournaments, followed by films, the most important of which are “Bright Your Eyes”, “Song on the Corridor” and “Sons of Silence”.
Madiha remained out of the limelight following her retirement and veil until she passed away in January 1997.

She was always arguing cheerfully with her daughter over the Ramadan lantern, as she used to buy herself a large lantern and buy her daughter “Merham” a small lantern.
The daughter revealed that she found in the cupboard of the artist Madiha Kamel, following her death, a number of religious brochures, which are distributed in condolences as charity for the soul of the deceased.
Her mother printed it and kept it without telling her, and it was distributed following her death. She also discovered many charitable works that her mother was doing in secret.
She indicated that she loved to watch her mother’s work before her death, especially the play A Very Windy Day, where the character bore a great similarity with her.

During the filming of the series “The Snake” in 1975, she had a stroke, but the disease increased a year before her death and put her in bed for 10 months, which she spent in “Mustafa Mahmoud” hospital, and water accumulated on her lungs and the heart muscle weakened, which prolonged her stay in the hospital.
