An officer has been injured and a bandit has been arrested in a police encounter in the limits of Nawab Town Chowki L Block in Lahore.
According to sources, motorcyclists were looting in Shadiwal.
When the patrolling police arrived at the spot, in the exchange of fire between the robbers and the police, one robber was injured by the firing of his own partner.
The robber was arrested while injured and shifted to the hospital.
The injured robber has been identified as 26-year-old Naveed. The operation is going on to arrest other robbers.
