Yan Boudreau, President and Founder of the Medway Group, and Dr. Simon Plourde, Director of the Pierre-Bertrand Medical Clinic, have lifted the veil on a medical real estate project that will see the light of day in the summer of 2025.

This real estate project, which is carried out by the Medway Group, in partnership with Groupe Santé Expert, will be ready in the summer of 2025. The fact of being a tenant of the building will not guarantee automatic access to family doctors, warns the Dr Plourd.

The Pierre-Bertrand Clinic has nearly 30,000 patients. One of the priorities is tracking people and that will not change, he said.

“Medicine has changed a lot. Several professionals join the teams of doctors. Lots of nurses too. There is also the tendency for CLSCs to transfer their professionals within family medicine groups. So, it takes additional premises to provide accessibility to patients,” said Yan Boudreau, president and founder of the Medway Group.

This business model ensures that the non-medical administrative management is taken care of by the promoter who has developed a specialty in this type of project.

“We calculate that we are able to reduce the administrative tasks of a doctor by 20%, who will have more time to devote to his patients”, underlined Mr. Boudreau.

Medway Group manages fifteen clinics across Quebec.
