Today at noon in Eleonas Diakoptos, where the 69-year-old Frenchman and his 68-year-old wife were staying temporarily, an alarming incident occurred.
The 69-year-old went down to the garage and was slow to return, causing concern to his wife. When she went to look for him, she found him passed out on the floor, with a bag over his head and the gas bottle open.
It was notified ECAV and by ambulance the 69-year-old was transported to the Aegio Hospital, fortunately, without his life being in danger.
Investigations into the reasons that led the foreigner to the attempt on his life are being carried out by the Aegio Police Department.
