Doha: MERS disease confirmed in Qatar The Qatari Ministry of Public Health has confirmed that a 50-year-old man who came in direct contact with camels has been diagnosed with the disease. The Ministry of Health said the hospital was providing adequate care to the person who was diagnosed with the disease and had taken the necessary precautions. Health officials said no cases of the disease had been reported so far in anyone who came in contact with the patient.

However, the health department, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, has taken major precautions to prevent and control the spread of the disease. However, the disease has nothing to do with the novel corona virus.

The Ministry of Public Health has directed the public to take hygiene and precautions. The main precaution is to avoid contact with camels and to seek treatment when you experience symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat and shortness of breath.
