Since early this Wednesday morning, the Huy police, assisted by Civil Protection divers, federal police divers, the missing persons cell and the navigation police, have been looking for a 42-year-old Hutoise, missing since Tuesday evening.
“The children of the person concerned contacted us to report the facts. Our teams have been carrying out searches in the Meuse since this Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. The magistrate has been informed and the family members have been heard”, informs David Tancredi, commissioner of the Huy police zone.
“It is a Hutoise born in 1980. Certain elements lead us to think that it could be a suicidal person”, he continues.
At 4:00 p.m., the search was still continuing in the Meuse. In the course of the afternoon, the circumstances of his disappearance remained unknown.
