A 20-year-old woman disappeared near Gayang Station for a week… ‘Strange call’ to 119 on ‘that day’

Police are investigating the disappearance of a female office worker in her 20s near Gayang Station on Seoul Subway Line 9 for a week.

According to the police on the 5th, the disappearance investigation team of the Gangseo Police Station in Seoul is looking for Kim Ga-eul (24), who went missing near Gayang Station in Gangseo-gu on the 27th of last month. On the day of his disappearance, it is said that Kim visited the hairdresser following finishing work at a company located in Gangnam. Related photos were posted on Instagram.

However, following 9:30 pm, contact with family and acquaintances was lost. The last place where Mr. Kim was found was near Gayang Station. However, around 11 o’clock that night, paramedics arrived at Kim’s home in Gangseo-gu. The reporter is presumed to be Mr. Kim. Kim’s older sister said, “Her younger brother reported that ‘her older sister is going to fall’. The paramedics made sure I was okay and went,” she explained.

Some have speculated that Mr. Kim may have requested rescue over this. There have been many cases where a victim who had been exposed to an emergency before made a phone call to the police station, etc. However, the Gangseo Police Station spoke to the effect that it might not respond to the matter as it is under investigation on Donga.com.

Meanwhile, Kim is 163 cm tall and has a skinny body. He has short black hair and a tattoo on his left arm. On the day of his disappearance, he was wearing beige over black trousers and calf-high rain boots.
