The decision was made by a guarantee control judge, at the request of the Prosecutor’s Office because, according to the investigation carried out by a specialized prosecutor from the Antioquia Section, the minor would have participated in the murder of five people, between August 12 and September 6 of this year.

According to the prosecutor’s report, the adolescent would have committed the selective homicides, all with a firearm, by order of the organized armed group known as Los del Bajo. After several days of investigation, the authorities apprehended the teenager on November 16.

Likewise, in the investigative work it was highlighted that the young man would have flaunted the murders on his social networks and at the time of the apprehension, a weapon for the exclusive use of the Military Forces was seized.. Nevertheless, the minor did not agree to the charges for the crimes of aggravated homicide and illegal possession of firearms for civilian and aggravated military use.

At this time, the investigations continue to determine the adolescent’s responsibility for the events, but they are also looking to find out if he would be guilty of six other murders that occurred in the same municipality.
