As reported by the TV Network, the minor was arrested yesterday, August 26, in the afternoon and a case was filed against him for arson by the officers of the Emmanuel Papa Police Department. The police also arrested the parents of the child, for neglecting a minor.
According to the news outlet, the authorities arrested the 14-year-old, after the preliminary investigation by the police of four of his friends. All four children said they were eyewitnesses and saw him setting fire to the insulating material on the back wall of the school with a match.
