It’s an unusual fact to say the least… This Monday around 10 p.m., a man called the Boraine police to inform them that his bike had just been stolen. “He was then in pursuit of the thief”, specifies the Boraine police. “Apparently, he caught up with the thief and while braking in the rocks near the Pastures trail, he hit the bike in the back…”
After the accident, the police and an ambulance came to the scene. “The concerned and upset young teenager was transferred to hospital for a possible broken ankle. He was then interviewed by the police, as was the driver of the vehicle, ”confirms the Boraine police.
According to our information, the 14-year-old is still hospitalized at this time. He still suffers from a double sprain and a concussion. The young man is plastered.
