a 14-year-old teenager killed in Ougrée, a man found hanging from the gate of the former “La Coccinelle” restaurant in Neupré

It was a real drama that played out this Friday followingnoon in Neupré and Ougrée, in the Liège region. Two dead bodies were found in different circumstances and places. The two deaths would however be linked, according to the first elements of the investigation, which have yet to be confirmed.

A man was first discovered near his vehicle, not far from the well-known “La Coccinelle” restaurant in Hout-Si-Plou.

He was found hanging from the gate of the former restaurant. It is a walker who would have made the macabre discovery. “It would be a suicide”, communicates Philippe Dulieu, Prosecutor of the King of Liège. “This element will be confirmed by the medical examiner, but the person would have died by strangulation using a belt. In the same vehicle, a toddler was found safe and sound. »

According to our information, the child would be a little girl of 2 and a half years old, alive but very psychologically tested.

In the process, another body was found in Ougrée, near the driveway of Beau Vivier, an artery lined with woods. It is a 14 year old teenager, according to our information. Quite clearly, this is a homicide. “These two files seem to be linked,” adds Philippe Dulieu.

The initial file is in the hands of the Brussels public prosecutor’s office. The victim of Ougrée and the little girl found in the vehicle are domiciled in the Brussels region, while the man who committed suicide is from Seraing, further specifies the Prosecutor of the King of Liège.

The circumstances of this double death are still unknown, but the prosecution specifies that the man found hanged has no relationship with the victim of Ougrée and the girl found in his car.
