The Egyptian Public Prosecution revealed new details in an incident Rape of a 13-year-old child of a 5-year-old girl, Malak. In Upper Egypt, it has decided to place the accused child in a nursing home.
Investigations also revealed that the accident occurred in a children’s play area, a “famous entertainment center” in Assiut Governorate, Upper Egypt.
Unlicensed entertainment center
She explained that she asked those responsible for managing the place, during the investigations, and it was found that the entertainment center in which the accident occurred was being operated without a license from a competent authority.
She also asked four witnesses who confirmed seeing the victim following the incident, and her body showed signs of abuse.
The details of the horrific incident began with a report being received by the Public Prosecution on the fifteenth of this month, that the accused child, aged thirteen years, assaulted the victim, Malak, who was no more than five years old, in a children’s play area in Assiut.
The story started on social media
This coincided with what was monitored by the Monitoring and Analysis Unit in the Al-Bayan Department of the Egyptian Public Prosecutor’s Office of news circulating regarding the incident on social media. The Public Prosecution took over the investigations, and asked the parents of the victim, who testified to what their daughter told them; She came to them injured in the area of her chastity, and told them that following entering the bathroom in the play area, the accused infringed on her chastity home with his hand.
They searched for the accused in that area until the victim recognized him and referred to him, which is what the girl decided in the investigations.
