_p / \ rc___ de Shonen

With _p/rc___, Shonen transforms the extended Châtelet plateau into a large park with renewed standards, from which specific dances are born, associating children with physical motor disorders and dancers. Around them, with them, a cloud of telepresence robots, piloted by other children or adults in a situation of physical impediment. Bodies meet. The dancers make themselves both prostheses of the so-called impeded bodies, but also slides, living carousels. The robots push, pull, draw with the children, transport the stories and songs of the interpreter-pilots. What is the difference between “presence” and “telepresence”? What is (to) make accessible? The spectators, invited to walk around the stage as closely as possible to these interdependent dances, agitate this strange indoor park, a park out of the norm, by their movements.
