More than 50% larger than its predecessor, the new store necessitates a significant expansion of Aldi’s workforce to meet the demands of increased space and customer traffic. Aldi Ireland has launched a recruitment drive, offering over 30 positions across various departments. These roles encompass both newly created positions and replacements for existing roles.

“Our commitment to offering market-leading pay, complete benefits, and a focus on employee well-being underscores our belief in nurturing a motivated and fulfilled workforce,” said Brian O’Shea, HR Director at Aldi Ireland.

Starting salaries for these positions exceed the current rate set by the Living Wage Technical Group, standing at €14.80 per hour. Aldi Ireland, which celebrated 25 years of operation in Ireland last year, currently employs 4,650 individuals across its network of 163 stores nationwide.
