The match was a nail-biter from start to finish, with several three-set battles and the outcome hanging in the balance until the very end. Azuma Visaya’s match against North Dakota’s Leandro Zgraggen epitomized the tension. visaya dominated the first set 6-2, but Zgraggen fought back to win the second 7-5.The deciding third set went to a tense tie-breaker, which Visaya ultimately won 7-6(4), securing the crucial victory for the Rainbow Warriors.

The remaining singles matches where equally dramatic. Tianhao Hou battled back from a second-set tie-breaker loss to win the third set 6-1, while Andy Hernandez won the first set but ultimately fell in a tight third-set tiebreaker.

The Rainbow Warriors will now enjoy a week of rest before embarking on their first road trip of the season, facing UNLV in Las Vegas on February 13th, followed by matches against Grand Canyon on February 15th in phoenix and montana State on February 16th.
