“We’ve focused on organizing national MTQ events for years,but now,we’re thrilled to propel them to an international stage,” declared Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar during the opening ceremony. The minister highlighted the global enthusiasm for the competition, noting that a staggering 187 countries participated in the online pre-qualification round in 2023.
