Music, conversely, is a more personal, intimate expression. It’s where ‌I can truly let go⁣ and be myself. Sometimes they‍ feed each other, like when I‌ write music inspired‌ by a character ‍or a scene.

What can ⁢fans expect from the⁣ new Coconut Records music? This is your ​first release as⁣ the “Goats” score in 2012.

JS: I ⁤think⁢ it’s a natural progression from what we’ve done before.There are definitely ‌elements that evoke that classic Coconut ‌Records sound, but there are also ⁣some new textures and influences. It’s ⁤a bit more introspective and mature than our⁤ earlier work, I’d say.
