“I can’t believe I have to post this as my heart is broken and I don’t know where to start or end,” wrote Keith. “My best friend, my mentor, but most importantly my Dad, Ken, passed away peacefully last night after his battle with cancer.

Keith described his father as a “legend,” sharing a touching photo of the pair enjoying ice cream cones in a car. “The word legend is used too frequently,but if you know,you know. Fly high and party in the sky, Dad,” he added.

Ken, originally from waterford, resided in Sandyford, Dublin, with his devoted wife Kitty. He was an adored father to Michele and Keith, a loving grandfather to Breanna, Braden, and Alanna, and a cherished brother to Damien, Brendan, and Fergus. Ken leaves behind a large and loving family, numerous friends, and his devoted furry companion, Magic.

A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at the Garden Chapel,Mt. Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, on Tuesday afternoon, followed by cremation. The ceremony will be livestreamed, and attendees are asked to wear luminous colors at Ken’s request.
