Heesters bravely documented her experience, taking viewers along to the hospital for her final session. “Come with me to the very last external radiation treatment in the hospital,” she said in a voice-over. After registration, she proceeded to the treatment room where she received the radiation therapy.

“It doesn’t hurt and I don’t really feel anything happening in my body. The only thing that often bothers me afterwards are the side effects that come with it.”
Despite the challenges, Heesters remained optimistic throughout her journey, emphasizing her unwavering determination to recover. She stated, “we do it for a good cause. I hope I will be healthy and better as soon as possible.”
In a previous post, Heesters shared a difficult setback. Although initial tests suggested the cancer was in stage 1, a subsequent lymph node surgery revealed that the disease had spread to stage 3. “After surgery to remove lymph nodes I was told my cancer had spread (stage 3),” she shared on Instagram, bravely disclosing her diagnosis and the altered course of her treatment.
