A chilling incident has sent shockwaves through Jakarta, where a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three men in West Jakarta on January 18th, 2025. One suspect, MYH (19), has been apprehended by authorities, while the remaining two, identified as FE alias Jeding and RP alias Rian, are still at large.
“There are three perpetrators involved in this case. We have successfully arrested one perpetrator, MYH, and are actively pursuing the other two, FE and RP,” stated Commissioner Moch Taufik Iksan, Chief of the Kembangan Police, in a recent statement on January 25th, 2025.
The horrifying ordeal took place at a rented house on Jalan H Lebar Gang Bacang RT 07 RW 06 Meruya Selatan, Kembangan. According to reports, the victim was lured to the house by Jeding on a motorcycle at approximately 10:30 PM.
Upon arrival at the rented house, Jeding allegedly offered the victim alcoholic drinks. At this point, Rian was already present at the scene. MYH subsequently arrived, after which he instructed Jeding and Rian to leave the house. MYH then allegedly proceeded to rape the victim. Following this, it is alleged that Jeding and Rian rejoined and continued the assault.
“The three perpetrators persuaded the victim to consume alcoholic beverages. Onc the victim was intoxicated, the three perpetrators took turns sexually assaulting her,” Superintendent Taufik revealed.
this case is now in the hands of the West Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit for further investigation. MYH has been charged under article 81 of UURI No.17 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to UURI No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection.
