Phil Cahill (née Haugh) passed away peacefully on January 22nd, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Carrigoran House. Phil, a resident of Hazelgrove, Roslevan, Ennis, County Clare, was deeply loved adn will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Predeceased by her husband Donal, baby Mark, and sisters Maura and Margaret, Phil leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Her sons,Brendan,Shane,Garrett,Morgan,and donal,along with their wives,Bairbre,Ger,Anita,Annmarie,and Ruth,will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. Phil’s adored grandchildren, Donal, Ellie, stuart, Robyn, Eoin, Alison, Stephanie, Laura, Stephen, Aoife, Molly, and Jack, will remember her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
Phil’s passing has left a void in the hearts of her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbors, and friends. Her presence brought joy to everyone she encountered, and her absence will be deeply felt.
A funeral mass will be held in honor of Phil’s life at the Church of Our Lady, Roslevan, on Tuesday, January 28th, at 11 am. Following the mass, a cremation service will take place at Shannon Crematorium at 1 pm. Family flowers only, please. brendan: My mother was the heart of our family. She had a warm smile that could light up a room, and a heart full of kindness that extended to everyone she met. She was a true pillar of strength for our family, always there to offer a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, or a piece of wisdom when needed.
Archyde: What are some of your fondest memories of your mother?
Brendan: There are so many! She always made time for us, whether it was baking cookies, playing games, or simply sitting down for a chat.I remember her infectious laughter, her love of gardening, and her unwavering support at every stage of our lives. She was deeply proud of all her children and grandchildren, and her love for us was unconditional.

Brendan: Mom had a special gift for making everyone feel seen and heard. She treated everyone with respect and genuine interest, and she made people feel agreeable sharing their thoughts and feelings with her. She had a way of making even strangers feel like old friends.

Brendan: Mom was involved in many local activities and was a beloved figure in our community. she volunteered at the local church and always lent a helping hand wherever she could. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Brendan: I know this is a tough time for many. To those who are grieving, please know that you are not alone. Remember the good times, cherish the memories, and draw strength from the love that Phil shared with all of us.
