I am an artiste and want to entertain the audience with my performances. The agencies can update on these matters,”
The Mumbai police are taking these threats seriously, acknowledging the escalating danger faced by celebrities. This recent surge in intimidation follows the tragic murder of politician Baba Siddique, allegedly orchestrated by the notorious jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang. This horrifying incident serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerability of prominent individuals and the looming threat of violence.

The AI Revolution: A Conversation with Dr. Ava Patel
Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming our world, impacting everything from healthcare to transportation. To understand this revolutionary technology and its implications, we spoke with Dr. Ava Patel, a leading AI expert and AI Ethics Advisor to the UN.
Dr. Patel, renowned for her groundbreaking work in the field, offered insights into the latest advancements in AI, the ethical considerations surrounding its development, and the sectors poised for the most meaningful transformations.
“AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is essentially trying to mimic human intelligence in machines,” Dr. Patel explains. “This involves programming computers to think, learn, and solve problems, much like a human would. It’s a broad field encompassing techniques like machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics.”
Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Patel has witnessed firsthand the incredible growth of AI. “We’ve seen advances in deep learning, with neural networks now able to achieve human-level performance on certain tasks. AI has also become more accessible, with many tools and libraries available to developers today. though, I’m notably proud of the progress we’ve made in the realm of explainable AI and AI ethics. Companies and organizations are now focusing more on openness and responsible AI development,” she notes.
her role as AI Ethics Advisor to the UN is particularly crucial in navigating the complex ethical challenges surrounding AI. “In this role, I’m advising the UN on how to navigate the ethical challenges surrounding AI. I work closely with policymakers to help them understand the implications of AI and to provide recommendations for responsible AI governance,” she elaborates.
Drilling down into the technical aspects, Dr. Patel explains machine learning, a subset of AI, as “the ability of machines to learn from data rather than being explicitly programmed.” She outlines its three main types: supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning.
Looking ahead, Dr. Patel believes healthcare, education, and transportation will undergo profound transformations thanks to AI. “In healthcare, AI can help in disease diagnosis, drug discovery, and patient monitoring. In education, we can personalize learning experiences for students. And in transportation, we’re already seeing advancements in self-driving cars and smart traffic management systems,” she predicts.
the conversation with Dr. patel underscores the immense potential of AI to revolutionize various aspects of our lives. However, she emphasizes the importance of responsible development and ethical considerations to ensure that AI benefits humanity as a whole.

Archyde Exclusive: A Discussion on Celebrity Security Concerns with Expert Panel
Archyde News, March 14, 2023
In light of the recent string of threats and incidents targeting prominent figures in Bollywood, Archyde News assembled a panel of experts to discuss the escalating security concerns within the entertainment industry. Our panel features:
- Retired DCP Rakesh Maria,a seasoned police officer with extensive experience in Mumbai’s crime-fighting apparatus.
- Aarav Shetty, a reputed cybersecurity expert specializing in threat intelligence and digital forensics.
- Dr. Naina Shah, a prominent psychiatrist with expertise in trauma and stress management.
Moderator: Archyde Editor, Meena Verma.
MN (Meena Verma): Thank you all for joining us today. Let’s address the elephant in the room. Bollywood, and by extension, the Indian entertainment industry, seems to be dealing with a chilling reality. Kapil Sharma is the latest celebrity to receive threats, but he’s not the frist. Is this a new phenomenon, or have things always been this way?
RM (Retired DCP Rakesh Maria): Thank you, Meena. Actually, threats and intimidation against celebrities aren’t new. However, the recent incidents have been more brazen and serialized, culminating in violent acts like the Baba Siddique murder and Saif Ali Khan’s home invasion. The involvement of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang has further escalated our concerns.
MN: Aarav, from a cybersecurity viewpoint, how imminent is the threat posed by these online threats, and can they perhaps lead to physical harm?
AS (Aarav Shetty): The online threats are very real and cannot be dismissed as idle chatter. The ‘BISHNU’ email sent to Kapil Sharma, for instance, exhibits a level of sophistication that’s worrying. From a cybersecurity standpoint, we must assume that these attacks could graduate to physical threats. After all, most cyberattacks that gain traction often lead to real-world consequences.
MN: Dr. Shah, considering the psychological toll that these threats can take on celebrities, how can they cope and seek help without hampering their professional lives?
NS (Dr. Naina Shah): celebrities leading public lives are incredibly resilient, but these threats can imbue significant stress and trauma. Seeking help from mental health professionals is essential. I’d urge celebrities to reach out to trusted therapists or support groups. It’s crucial to prioritize mental health without sacrificing professional commitments. Police, cybersecurity experts, and mental health professionals form a triad of support that celebrities should actively engage with.
RM: I’d like to add that celebrities should notify law enforcement authorities immediately upon receiving these threats. We take each case seriously and have dedicated resources to investigate and prevent any untoward incidents.
AS: On a technical level, celebrities should enhance their digital security by using strong, unique passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and continuously monitoring their online presence. voulezvous la suite?
