Fuego (F): Thanks for having me! I’m really excited to be a part of this amazing event.

AND: FireAid is a star-studded concert aiming to raise funds for Southern California wildfire relief. As a Miami-based artist, what drew you to this cause?

F: You know, at the end of the day, we’re all global citizens.When I heard about the devastation from the wildfires, I knew I wanted to do something to help. As artists, we have a platform, and with that comes a obligation to use our voices for good. FireAid is an amazing platform to do just that.

AND: We couldn’t agree more. Your unique sound, bridging hip-hop and latinx cultures, promises to bring a powerful energy to the FireAid stage. Tell us more about your musical background and how it influences your performances.

F: Growing up in Miami, I was constantly surrounded by diverse cultures, rhythms, and stories. My music is a reflection of that upbringing. It’s about connecting people, transcending borders, and bringing everyone together on the dance floor.When I step onto that stage at FireAid,I want everyone to feel that energy – the joy,the pain,the triumph. as that’s what music is all about, right?

AND: Absolutely. And we know that your performances always deliver on that promise.Speaking of promises, fireaid is dedicating funds towards both immediate relief efforts and long-term disaster prevention initiatives.how crucial is it for you to support such extensive relief efforts?

F: It’s crucial. Natural disasters affect entire communities – their homes, lives, and livelihoods. Immediate relief is a must, but it’s also important to invest in long-term solutions to prevent future disasters. FireAid is doing just that, and it’s a testament to the thoughtfulness and care behind this event. I’m proud to be a part of it.

AND: We couldn’t be prouder to have you. Now, we have to ask – what can fans expect from your performance at FireAid? Any hints or surprises you can share?

F: (Laughs) You know I can’t reveal all my secrets! But I will say this: I’ve got a few special guests joining me on stage. We’ll be performing some of my hits, and also a new track that’s really close to my heart. It’s called “Rise Up,” and it’s all about resilience, which feels fitting for this event. It’s going to be a night to remember, for sure.
