“Infrastructure and charging peripherals are crucial for the widespread adoption of electric commercial vehicles,” notes Mr. Li Zhengxi, director of commercial vehicles at Inchcape. “Our partnership with CDG tackles this challenge head-on by providing diverse charging solutions tailored to the unique needs of various industries.”
Under this collaborative framework,Inchcape+ will supply customized BYD electric trucks to diverse fleets,while CDG will leverage its expertise in charging infrastructure and project financing,including leasing options for the EVs.
The hub’s launch also marks the official debut of the BYD T9R, an impressive electric truck boasting a range of 320km and an remarkable charging speed – going from 20% to 80% in approximately an hour.
