DL: Well, at this point in my career, I wanted a new challenge, something that woudl really drive me. I’ve always had a soft spot for brazilian football and its passionate fans, so when Fortaleza presented their project, I was really impressed. The club’s ambition, the squad’s potential, and the chance to be a part of something big from the start – it all felt like the perfect chance for me.

A: Fortaleza is indeed on the rise. What are your expectations for the team this season and beyond?

A: Now that you’re back in Brazil, do you feel any added pressure or expectations, given your illustrious career?

DL: pressure is something I’ve learned to live with throughout my career. I actually find it motivating. As for expectations, I think Fortaleza fans can expect a passionate, dedicated player who will give his all for the club. I’m here to help the team grow and succeed.
