Soundos El Ahmadi, a renowned stand-up comedian and actress, recently opened up about her strained relationship with Marieke Elsinga, a prominent RTL presenter and Qmusic DJ, during an appearance on Farja Farvardin’s YouTube series. She added, “She has a bad quality, and that is that she looks down on people very quickly. that’s what I experienced.”

Marieke has also faced criticism from media columnist Angela de Jong, who shared her thoughts on the AD Media Podcast. Angela didn’t hold back when discussing Marieke’s role as a presenter on The jump. “I think she should make it exciting as a presenter, but everything goes in the same tone. ‘Activate the shutters,’ ‘make the jump,'” Angela remarked. “There’s certainly an audience for it, but I’m not impressed. We’re waiting for the celebrity version. It’s a trivial game, and there are plenty of those on TV. Still, 850,000 people watch it. Fine.”
Though, Angela did offer a backhanded compliment. “If I have to choose between Glennis Grace or The Jump, I’d say The Jump,” she admitted. “I don’t believe Marieke Elsinga can’t do anything. I’d place her in an informative program, like Boulevard, if I were RTL.”
Angela acknowledged that Marieke performed “fantastically” in the entertainment program. “At least she can express herself more there. This is such a fill-in-the-blank exercise, and you need someone who can make it exciting. She really can’t do that,” she concluded.
