Dave Grohl, however, has turned this dream into reality multiple times. From Nirvana to Foo Fighters, Grohl has seamlessly transitioned between roles, earning his place as one of rock’s most versatile icons. Yet, even for him, collaborating with Josh Homme and John Paul Jones in Them Crooked Vultures stands out as a career-defining moment.

His work with Queens of the Stone Age on Songs for the Deaf was initially intended as a one-off collaboration. I mean, that was like my bucket-list wish; that was my dream band. For years peopel have asked me: ‘If you could have a dream line-up,what would it be?’ So this is actually it.” The trio’s self-titled debut album is a masterclass in rock innovation, blending Homme’s gritty riffs, Jones’s virtuosic bass lines, and Grohl’s thunderous drumming.
